When should I come to the ER vs urgent care?
Urgent care fits minor illness during business hours — a mild cold, a small cut, a routine sprain. Anything involving chest pain, breathing trouble, stroke signs, severe pain, a head injury, or a child under 3 months with a fever belongs in an emergency room.
